UPDATE: see Polyglot Conference Global
Some of you have been asking about the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) on the Polyglot Conference in Cholula, Mexico.
We still have seven months to go until the Conference in October. A lot can happen in that time. It's simply too early to tell what impact the crisis may have at this stage, but we are keeping an eye on the latest advice and will adapt as required.
At this stage we intend to proceed as usual with the full conference programme, and we hope you will all be able to join us in person in Cholula, Mexico for the event. This year we may also combine the onsite programme with some virtual events and live-streaming talks and activities.
The call for papers is open. Please don't let current events hold you back from submitting your talks. We want to hear from as wide a range of people as possible, and will do our best to make sure everyone can participate in some form regardless of what the future holds.
We will continue to monitor the situation and post updates if things change.
Stay safe, and remember to wash your hands!
